Live Nation Contract Ratification 2023-2024

The Employer and Live Nation Bargaining Committee have agreed to terms on a contract renewal for a term begining on July 1st, 2023 until June 30th, 2024.

As outlined in the Constitution and By-Laws of IATSE Local 118, a discussion meeting on the proposed Memorandum of Agreement was held at the September 25th General Membership Meeting, via Zoom.

Subsequent to the discussion meeting, an electronic ratification vote was held. 

Due to the size of Live Nation events in comparison to Local 118 membership size, the Executive has determined that there is a high likelihood that ANY Local 118 member could be working under and subject to the terms of these contracts, and is therefore entitled to vote on the ratification of this Collective Agreement. 

Therefore, this ballot was open to all Local 118 "A" Members in good standing, regardless of whether they worked during the term of the previous Live Nation Collective Agreement. Any permittees who worked under the previous Live Nation Collective Agreement are also entitled to vote on this agreement per the BC Labour Code. 

A copy of the proposed memorandum of agreement and the updated collective agreement are attached to this post.
